Three-dimensional profile of carbon tetrachloride (CT) levels at the Schoolcraft Bio-augmentation Test Site 522 days after inoculation with Pseudomonas stutzeri strain KC.

Groundwater flow direction is from the upgradient control wells (5-8, 31) through the delivery well gallery and toward the downgradient wells (9-30). Monitoring well clusters are designated by number (5-31) and the dots are the concentration of CT at depth-specific peizometers. Wells 5-13 and 17-26 are screened (1 ft) at depths 35, 45, 55, 65 and 75 ft below ground surface (bgs).

Wells 14-16, 27 and 28 are screened at depths 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 ft bgs. Wells 29, 30 and 31 monitor the depths 80, 85 and 90 ft bgs which are deeper than the delivery wells and thus in the non-influenced zone. Wells 17, 18, 21 and 22 are on either side of the treatment zone and monitor non-influenced sections of the test zone.
